Webkinz Sherbet Bunny Raffle for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

During the Webkinz Extravaganza weekend, April 25-27, Baskets of Distinction will be holding a raffle for a chance to Win a cute and cuddly Retired Webkinz Sherbet Bunny valued at $150-$200. Proceeds from this raffle will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help cure leukemia and other blood-related cancers.

Tickets are only $3.00 each or 4 for $10 and can be purchased within our store or by calling us at 201-656-5427.

You can purchase as many raffle tickets as you wish to give hope to help people in need, as well as add to your chances of winning.

All tickets must be purchased before April 27th at 5pm. The winning tickets will be drawn on April 27th.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families. The Society was established in 1949 as The de Villiers Foundation. In 2000, the Society changed its name from The Leukemia Society of America to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to emphasize its commitment to fighting all blood cancers.

It's almost time for Webkinz World's third anniversary, and that means it's almost time for the Webkinz Day Extravaganza. We have lots of fun things scheduled and everyone who spends $10 in the store during the Extravaganza weekend will get a FREE mystery Webkinz pet.

The celebration will be at our store April 25-27, you don't want to miss it! Please sign-up for the events you'd like to attend by calling 201-656-5427 or in the store. Monday the 18th was my niece Desiree's 1st Birthday. I enjoyed spending my day off baking and decorating her cake. Pooh is nostalgic for me, since he was my favorite as a child too.

Here are some pictures of me having fun and the final product. It was a yellow cake with Buttercream icing. We added a #1 candle to the balloon at her party. Ta-da!

Wow, we turned 5 this weekend!! I can't believe how quickly time has passed and how much we've grown over the years.

It has been an interesting journey...We have had wonderful opportunities, met great people and developed friendships with customers that have become like an extended family to us.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for supporting us these past 5 years (especially to those of you who stopped by for our celebration). We're looking forward to continue growing with you and providing awesome gifts for the community.

Your new or like new toy donation can bring a smile to the face of a child on Christmas morning. His Toy Store, sponsored by Redeemer Hoboken church is held each year at Mustard Seed School an attended by families in Hoboken to provide a low cost option to shop for their Christmas gifts. Families come by invitation. The small fees ($. 25-$1.00) for toys purchased that day are given to Hopes Head Start and in Jesus' Name pantry in Hoboken.

Tri Color Tutus & Dance Classes

After a thorough search we found the most whimsical tutu ever for your fairy princess! These tutus for little girls from Beary Basics are made of 3 layers of different colored tulle. Halloween Fun

Halloween was awesome this year! Washington St. was more packed than ever for the Rag a Muffin parade. Dad was part of a Hazardous Material cleanup unit and I was a Cat Burglar. Here are some pics with friends. I'll get some more pics up soon.
